Welcoming exchange students from over 100 countries at the TH Deggendorf
Every year, the Deggendorf Institute of Technology welcomes international exchange students who, just like I did in my first semester, arrive eager to explore a new country.
Together, we made their first week at the university unforgettable—full of new experiences, friendships, and a warm welcome to their journey ahead.
I was their first contact in the city of many of them, and I loved welcoming them—from picking them up at the station to helping them settle into their dorms. Exploring a new place in the middle of winter can feel a bit daunting, but I made sure they felt at home right away. ❄️✨
Together, we played Schnitzeljagd, explored the city, and turned strangers into friends. New friendships, new connections, and an unforgettable start to their journey! 😊🌍
