Since I was a kid, I’ve always been fascinated by different cultures and societies. I’ve always thought that learning a language is the closest thing to traveling the world without moving. 🌍✈️ Besides Spanish, I speak English, Turkish, German, and a bit of Portuguese!
I’ve been living in Germany for more than two years, and learning German has been my biggest challenge so far. It’s unlike any language I’ve learned before—complex grammar, tricky pronunciation, and oh… the dialects! Probably the most difficult (and fascinating) part for me. 😆
I started learning Standard German at the SprachenZentrum of Würzburg University, but then I moved to Niederbayern, where Bavarian is widely spoken. And wow, that was a surprise—Bavarian German is a whole different beast! Now, I’m really happy with my German level, but freilich, I’m improving it every day 😉.

According to my TOEFL certificate, I have a C1 level in English, but honestly, I think it should be more… (just kidding 😜).
English has been part of my life forever. I was lucky to have American teachers in high school back in Peru, and since then, American and British culture have been a normal part of my daily life—from music to movies. I simply love this language. 💙 It has opened so many doors for me, both socially and professionally.

I lived in Türkiye for almost four years, where I managed to reach an academic level in Turkish, a language that’s completely different from Spanish but has always made me feel at home. 💙 Similar to Spanish, Turkish has some really cute expressions, like Kolay gelsin (literally “May it come easy” – used to wish someone a smooth task) or Geçmiş olsun (wishing someone a quick recovery). These small phrases made me love the language even more.
